There are so many great things about your Instrument, and you should know all about it!  Imagine someone asking you a question about it and you don't know the answer.  You want to have a great knowledge of this awesome thing you are making music with.  I'll be adding resources as I can, so check back regularly!

I am not promoting D'addario here, you may buy things from anywhere you choose, but the resources that they have put together are excellent and you'll learn a lot.  

(full disclosure: most of the strings we stock at school are D'Addario, and I use Evans heads on my drum set - take my slight bias into consideration....)
