Find Your Seat in ORCHESTRA!!

Sign-ups are returning!  Become a Musician in the Orchestra!!

WE WANT YOU!!!  There is a lot of interest in joining orchestra, and we would love to have you join!

Sign up with the forms included below and we'll get started as soon as we can.  You'll need to find a way to get an instrument, either Rent (which I suggest - the big reasons are on the letter attached or on the online form), Use an instrument you already have or can borrow, or, if there is some financial difficulty that might prevent you, contact Mr. Clinton and see if he can find you a school instrument to borrow and play.  You'll also be responsible to get a music stand, a lesson book, and some expendable supplies like rosin, a tuner, strings if yours break (Mr. Clinton has some you can purchase from the school and he'll replace them for you), and possibly some extras like a shoulder rest.  The necessary things are all included in the rental programs.  Let's get everything set and get you playing!!  Orchestra is super fun, challenging, and playing an instrument is just plain awesome!!

Link to the letter Mr. Clinton Sent Home.
Please Read This, it includes most of the important Information.

Read the letter, because all of the information is very important.  Then, fill out the online form by pressing the red "Online Sign-up" button above, or print out the letter, fill it out by hand, and have your child return it to their Homeroom teacher.

Sign up to Orchestra Class using the online form!

**If you fill out this online form, you don't have to fill out and send in the paper form at the bottom of the letter!

Please contact me with any questions, I'm here to help!

Getting an instrument for your child is a process that has so many details.  I'd love to help.  There are so many terrible quality instruments out there, especially online, that look good, and even might say "teacher approved" but are super-cheap wood, will crack/shrink/sound bad no matter what your child does/never stay in tune/break regularly/be hard to play/etc. that I want to help you navigate the pitfalls of great marketing for trashy instruments.  Like spending hundreds on sports equipment, dirt bikes, etc:  you want to be able to get something that is worth the money, that won't be constantly broken and cost money to fix, and which works well for your child to excel in their endeavors.  Together we can find that instrument.

**Contact me at: bclinton@wyalusingrams.com or call my cell at 570.500.2551 with any questions or to check if an instrument you found is a worthwhile instrument.  Thanks!

Get an Instrument!

You can do everything online!!

Two Companies that have been renting instruments to Wyalusing students for years that I am comfortable recommending are:

Sides, and Judds have different rental programs, so check them out and see which might work best for you.  There are other options, but I am very familiar with these companies, and can vouch for the quality of their instruments.  Each are a rent-to-own program, so you'll own a full sized instrument at the end of the rental period!!
